Baby killer, Liam Deanne, who punched daughter to death was murdered in prison by fellow inmates.
The body of child killer Liam Deane was found in his cell at HMP Leeds on Sunday.
Liam Deanne, 22, was jailed last month after he punched and shook his two-day-old daughter Luna because she “would not stop crying”. Baby Luna die in hospital three days later from brain injuries.
Liam Deane’s death comes just five weeks after he was jailed for life with a minimum of 10 years over the death of his daughter in July.
He admitted punching the infant in the face, squeezing her body and arms and shaking her after losing his temper because she kept crying continuously.
Liam Deanne was murdered on Tuesday by a serving prisoner,John Westland, 28. He appeared before Leeds Magistrates’ Court accused of Deane’s murder.
Westland was remanded in custody to appear at Leeds Crown Court on Thursday.
Deane had initially told the baby’s mother, Karen Bissett, 21, that she had fallen, but broke down when interviewed by police.
What a heartless thing to do to just snuff out life from another.
