David Cassidy dies at 67 from an organ failure on Tuesday in a hospital in Florida.
Cassidy, widely known for his starring role as Keith Partridge in the 1970s series, The Partridge Family, announced earlier this year that he had been diagnosed with dementia.
Cassidy died surrounded by his family, a family statement released by publicist JoAnn Geffen said.
He had been in life support since Monday and at around noon on Tuesday, the family decided to remove Cassidy from life support.
